On January 6, 2013, the North China Beijing maintenance base of Grand China Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. was renamed as the North China Beijing maintenance base of HNA Technic Co., Ltd. Beijing quality management department completed the D.10115 renaming and obtained the maintenance license issued by the authority.
On January 16, 2013, HNA AVIATION TECHNIC COMPANY LIMITED issued the Notice on the Establishment of Grand Xinhua Aircraft Maintenance Service Co., Ltd. which marks the establishment of Grand Xinhua Aircraft Maintenance Service Co., Ltd., a joint venture between HNA AVIATION TECHNIC COMPANY LIMITED and FAST EXPRESS INVESTMENT LIMITED, a Hong Kong company owned by the European Aerospace Defense Group.
On April 16, 2013, the "Maintenance Skills Competition" of HNA, sponsored by HNA Technic and co-organized by HNA Lufthansa, was successfully held in Meilan base. Nine teams from HNA Technic, GCAM, Tianjin Airlines and Yangtze River Express participated in the competition.
On April 28, 2013, the 20th Anniversary Maintenance Photo Exhibition of HNA Technic was held in Haikou No.1 hangar. This exhibition shows the important events of HNA maintenance development in the past 20 years, as well as precious archives, honors, social welfare and other projects.
On May 17, 2013, the Capital Airlines B-6211 aircraft sprayed by HNAT-STTS Hainan Aerospace Painting Company Limited was successfully delivered, and the 10th aircraft painted for 8 days was delivered on time, which became a milestone in the early development of HNAT-STTS Hainan Aerospace Painting Company.
On May 22, 2013, the northwest maintenance base of HNA Technic successfully completed the AOG support of German DC-AVIATION. During the work, the personnel of German DC-AVIATION followed up the whole process, and the customer service concept, production organization efficiency and maintenance work style of HNA Technic were praised for many times.
From April 28 to May 31, 2013, HNA Technic 20-year maintenance photo exhibition was held in Haikou, Beijing, Xi'an, Kunming, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Sanya and other places, displaying a series of precious photos, objects, trophies, medals and other pictures during the 20-year development of HNA maintenance, which attracted extensive attention of employees.
At 15:00 p.m. on June 16, 2013, with satisfactory customer evaluation, smooth production organization and reliable quality assurance, HNAT-STTS Hainan Aerospace Painting Company Limited completed the painting of the first third-party customer aircraft, B-5322 of Shenzhen Airlines, which is a new milestone after the successful delivery of the tenth aircraft, which means that HNAT-STTS Hainan Aerospace Painting Company Limited has taken the first successful step in developing the third-party aircraft painting market and has made a breakthrough.
On July 5, 2013, HNA Technic completed the maintenance application for APU, obtained the approved maintenance project certificate issued by civil aviation Central South Bureau, and became the first maintenance unit in Central South region to obtain APU maintenance approval.
On July 11, 2013, HNA's first direct flight conducted by Boeing 787 landed at Capital International Airport safely and smoothly. The 787 maintenance team of HNA Technic North China maintenance base held a solemn and grand swearing ceremony. All members promised to continue to carry forward the spirit of solidarity and cooperation, no private dedication, dedication and responsibility, and to guarantee the safe operation of 787 aircraft.
On July 22, 2013, HNA Technic APU maintenance certification and the first 131-9B APU downline ceremony was successfully held.
On September 9, 2013, HNA Technic's DOA STC capacity application was approved by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department. It reflects the recognition and support of Hong Kong authority for our modification and design capability, and also provides a strong guarantee for our company to successfully complete the significant modification projects of Hong Kong Airlines’A330 aircraft in the future.
On September 30, 2013, the cabin configuration modification of B-LNK of Hong Kong Airlines A330-VIP aircraft undertaken by HNA Technic, as well as the installation of full cabin seat power supply and cabin WiFi in Beijing HNA hangar were successfully completed, and passed the examination and approval of Hong Kong Civil Aviation Bureau, and obtained the STC (supplementary Type certificate) of Hong Kong CAD (Civil Aviation Department). HNA Technic became the first DOA organization in China to obtain the STC from Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department.
On October 28, 2013, the foundation stone laying ceremony of HNA Technic Haikou No.2 hangar was held in HNA Haikou base.
On October 30, 2013, the launching ceremony of the satellite station of HNA Technic North China maintenance base was successfully held in the capital airport.
On December 13, 2013, the commencement ceremony of HNA Technic cabin parts manufacturing project was held in Xi'an. This project will help HNA Technic to reduce its dependence on OEM, improve maintenance quality, shorten support cycle, and reduce maintenance cost for customers, marking that HNA Technic has entered the field of aviation spares manufacturing.
On December 16, 2013, HNA Technic was officially awarded a certificate of "High-tech Enterprise" issued jointly by the Hainan Provincial Science and Technology Department, Hainan Provincial Finance Department, Hainan Provincial State Taxation Bureau and Hainan Provincial Local Taxation Bureau.
